Christos Papanicolaou

Christos Papanicolaou has extensive experience in the shipping industry. Christos is currently working as a Senior Vice President at SSY. Prior to that, they held various roles at Charles R. Weber Company, where they were the Managing Director and Head of Global Business Development. At Universal Maritime, they served as the Senior Vice President and was responsible for founding an Oil Major backed crude tanker company. Christos also worked as the President/CEO and Founder of Universal Maritime Corp, where they supervised a local team and worked closely with an overseas team. Earlier in their career, Christos Papanicolaou held a Senior Vice President position at Groton Pacific Carriers Inc, where they gained leadership experience in tanker shipping and was involved in various aspects of commercial shipping. Christos also founded and acted as the Managing Director of GP Trading, a ship brokerage firm.

Christos Papanicolaou has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Hofstra University.
