Bancy Wawira

Bancy Wawira is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher, KS3 Tutor, Sports Coach, Scouts Leader, and Pastoral Houseparent Assistant at St Andrew's School, Turi, since August 2023, specializing in Mathematics and Physical Education. Prior to this, Bancy held the position of Head of Examinations Department and KS2 Class Teacher at Shah Lalji Nangpar Academy from September 2016 to August 2023, focusing on the administration and management of examinations. Bancy also served as Head Teacher and Class 7/8 Teacher of English and Science at Embu Shepherd Academy between January 2015 and September 2016, overseeing school operations and student achievements. Earlier in career, Bancy worked as a Field Officer at Macadamiafans Training and Buying Centre, where involvement included pioneering organic farming practices. Currently pursuing further education at Kenyatta University from 2022 to 2024.
