Ian Wright

Ian Wright is an experienced educator currently serving as the Head of Science at Hallfield School since September 2024, where the focus is on instilling a passion for science and guiding Year 8 students in leadership development. Previously, Ian held the position of Headmaster of the Preparatory School at St Andrew's School, Turi, from August 2020 to September 2024, leading an international Christian preparatory school aimed at nurturing future leaders. Ian's extensive background includes roles as Head of Prep School at Pocklington School, Headteacher of Boys’ School at Westholme School, and Senior Master and Head of Science at Orwell Park School, along with experience as a Science Teacher at Parkside Middle School. Ian's educational qualifications include an NPQH from the National College for School Leadership and degrees in Primary Education and Soil and Land Resource Science from Newcastle University.
