Advocacy Ambassador at St. Anthony Foundation

Mary Rich is an experienced educator and community volunteer with a diverse background in teaching and advocacy. Currently serving as a Volunteer Ambassador for the Salvation Army in Chico, CA since February 2022, Mary engages in various activities including food distribution and disaster food service operations. As an Advocacy Ambassador with the St. Anthony Foundation since January 2021 and a board member at Children’s Community Charter School since 2017, Mary actively promotes educational initiatives. Retired from a successful career as a Kindergarten Teacher and Language Arts Teacher at Thermalito Union School District, Mary holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Teacher Leadership from the University of Phoenix, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Liberal Studies and Education from California State University, Chico. Mary enjoys spending time as a grandmother, traveling, and gardening in retirement.
