A trusted name in health care, the St. Barnabas Health System has grown to become a visionary leader in providing compassionate, quality care. Founded in 1900 as a charitable nursing home, St. Barnabas now spans across three alluring campuses in Allegheny, Butler, and Beaver Counties.

Each day, we continue to help the health, education, and social needs of others, while providing care with dignity, grace, and respect. We pride ourselves on our all-embracing, non-profit and faith-based mission while maintaining a focus on our founder’s reminder “God is able”. Care is provided to over 11,000 inpatients and residents each year, and approximately 35,000 outpatient and home care visits take place annually.

Our full spectrum of properties and care includes three independent living communities, five living assistance properties, memory care, a skilled nursing home with short-term care and extensive rehabilitative support, a Medical Center, personalized home care, rehabilitation, and hospice services. 

We work on the side of angels - For more than a century, St. Barnabas Health System has helped retirees live comfortably at a price they can afford. Our several charitable corporations help raise over $7 million each year toward the Free Care Fund, which assists patients and residents with care that they cannot afford. These include two golf courses (Conley Resort & Golf and Suncrest Golf Course), two grocery stores (Tusca Plaza Shop ‘n Save, Rochester Shop 'n Save), multiple radio stations (WJAS, Beaver County radio, Butler Radio Network), Rudolph’s Auto Repair, an indoor swimming pool (Crystal Conservatories) which can house weddings and other gatherings, and other events, including a 5K that attracts people from across the country.
