Angelo Mascia

Angelo Mascia, D.O., MBA, CPPS, CPHQ, currently serves as the Patient Safety Officer at SBH Health System, focusing on patient safety initiatives, risk management, and process improvement within healthcare. Inducted into the role of Emergency Medicine Physician at Westchester Medical Center, Angelo also holds experience as a Clinical Quality and Safety Fellow and previously as Chief Resident and Resident in Emergency Medicine. As the founder of Westchester Disc Golf Enthusiasts, Angelo promotes disc golf as a healthy recreational activity. Angelo's leadership background includes chairing the NYACEP Emergency Medicine Resident Committee and serving as National Chair for the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology, an MBA from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from the University at Albany.
