Santino R. Thomas has a diverse work experience across various industries. Starting in 2008, they worked in promotions and in-game entertainment for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies and followed that with a role in marketing services for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in 2009. Santino R. then served as a Graduate Assistant for Athletics - Marketing & Sponsorship at the State University of New York College at Cortland from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, they worked for USA Volleyball, where they were responsible for researching and cataloging potential event sites, coordinating coaching clinics, and handling foreign relations. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Intramural & Athletics Summer Camp Coordinator at Siena College. In 2012, they briefly worked as an Account Executive for Season Tickets at Albany Devils. Santino founded their own public relations company, SRT Public Relations, in 2020 and worked as a Consultant there. In 2021, they joined Associated Builders and Contractors - Empire State as the Director of Communications & Marketing, and in 2023, they became the Director of Marketing & Communications at St. Catherine's Center for Children. Santino R. also had significant experience in the New York State Assembly, where they served as the Director of Communications & Chief of Staff from 2019 to 2020 and held various roles as a PR/Communications Coordinator and Assistant PR/Communications Coordinator from 2015 to 2018.
Santino R. Thomas completed their education with a Master of Science (M.S.) in International Sport Management from the State University of New York Cortland, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sport Management from the same institution, studying from 2008 to 2009. Santino R. Thomas began their academic journey by completing an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Recreation & Sport Management from the State University of New York at Delhi, attending from 2005 to 2008.
