Helen Harkness

Helen Harkness is an experienced educator and leader in the field of boarding and arts education. Currently serving as the Senior Boarding Housemistress at St Catherine's School in Bramley since September 2016, Helen oversees the four boarding houses, ensuring optimal care and experiences for all boarders. Prior to this role, Helen held various positions at Wykeham House School, including Boarding Housemistress and Head of Seniors, and contributed significantly as Head of Creative Arts Faculty and Head of Department at Mayville High School. Helen began the teaching career at Regents Park School as a Teacher of Physical Education. Helen holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Chichester, completed in 1996.
