Amy Vidlak Girmscheid

Amy Vidlak Girmscheid is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Adult Services Manager at St. Charles Public Library since September 2022, following a role as Interim Adult Services Manager. Amy has been with the St. Charles Public Library District since September 2019 as Collection Development Librarian. Formerly, Amy was the Library Director at Sandwich Public Library District, where leadership focused on innovative programming and community engagement. Additional experience includes roles at Town and Country Public Library District, Waubonsee Community College, Batavia Public School District 101, Batavia Mothers Club Foundation, Naperville Public Library, and the First Division Museum at Cantigny. Amy holds multiple degrees and certifications, including an MLIS from Dominican University and Public Library Director Certification from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
