Dena Haritos Tsamitis is an accomplished academic and industry leader, currently serving as the Director of the Information Networking Institute and the Barbara Lazarus Professor in Information Networking at Carnegie Mellon University since October 2000. Dena has held multiple roles at Carnegie Mellon, including Founding Director of Education, Training and Outreach at CyLab and Associate Director of the Information Networking Institute. In addition to their extensive experience in academia, Tsamitis is actively involved in various organizations, serving as a member of the Foundation Board of Directors at St. Clair Hospital, Company Advisor at Prime Tech Partners, Advisory Board Member at RSA Conference, and Board of Advisors member at Bolster, Inc. Furthermore, Tsamitis contributes to the governance of the American College of Greece as a trustee and is an advisory board member for the Executive Women's Forum on Information Security, Risk Management & Privacy. Tsamitis holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
