Michael J. Flanagan

Michael Flanagan is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer at St. Clair Health since December 2006, Michael previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the same organization. Prior to St. Clair Health, Michael was Vice President of Operations & Specialty Practice Network at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital from January 2001 to December 2006. Michael’s career also includes a role as Group Practice Administrator for Premier Medical Associates & Alliance Medical, Inc. at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield from October 1996 to December 2000, and Practice Administrator at Medaphis Physicians Services from September 1992 to October 1996. Michael holds a Master in Public Management with a focus on Health Care from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy & Administration from Penn State University.
