Davidson Blanchard is the interim director of online and distance learning at St. Cloud State University. Davidson has over nine years of experience in curriculum coordination and management, professional development, and instructional focus. Davidson has a wealth of experience in online curriculum and instruction, having worked extensively with both teachers and students in this area. Davidson is also skilled in communications and parent/community relations. In their previous position as curriculum coordinator with the Cambridge-Isanti Schools, Davidson was responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting district-wide professional development and curriculum implementation, as well as ensuring horizontal and vertical updates of curriculum documents. Davidson also fostered relationships with potential content partners and other vendors, reviewed and negotiated bids and contracts, managed relationships with content and service partners, created and maintained a curriculum web page, and assisted with communications to parents and community members. Davidson's experience and skills make him an excellent interim director of online and distance learning at St. Cloud State University.

Davidson Blanchard has an EdD in Educational/Instructional Technology from Winona State University, a Master's Degree in Information Media from St. Cloud State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching K-6; Science 5-8 from St. Cloud State University. Davidson also has an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Associates in the Arts from Anoka-Ramsey Community College. Davidson is certified by QM Quality Matters in Applying the QM Rubric and by CITI Program in IRB Training for SCSU Faculty and Staff.

Davidson Blanchard reports to Dan Gregory, Provost & VP, Academic Affairs. They are on a team with Rhonda Huisman - Dean of University Library, Claudia Tomany - Dean of School of Graduate Studies & Associate Provost, Research & Sponsored Programs, and Brandon Johnson - Executive Director, Academic Resources.
