Michael Hanna

Michael Hanna serves as the Director of Admissions at St. Cloud State University, a position held since October 2021, after previous roles as Interim Director and Associate Director focused on transfer student recruitment. Responsibilities include supervising admissions staff, developing recruitment strategies for transfer students, and fostering partnerships with community colleges to increase enrollment among underrepresented groups. Prior to this, Michael worked as Outreach and Admissions Specialist at Ridgewater College, where recruitment efforts targeted diverse programs and high school outreach. Additional experience includes roles in business development at the National Exercise Trainers Association and promotional staff at Hubbard Broadcasting. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Minnesota State Moorhead and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Fitness Administration from Southwest Minnesota State University.
