Troy Shafer

Troy Shafer is an accomplished academic and health educator with extensive experience in community health and kinesiology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at St. Cloud State University since August 2018, Troy has worked with a diverse student population and has been actively involved in program planning and community initiatives. Prior roles include serving as a DFC Coordinator at the CDC and health educator positions in both North Junior High and Isle High School, where curriculum development and fostering safe learning environments were key responsibilities. Troy's earlier tenure at St. Cloud State University involved significant contributions to curriculum design and student advising. Troy holds a Master of Science in Community Health from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Fitness from Gustavus Adolphus College.
