Thor Nelson

Thor Nelson has extensive experience in facilities management and construction, currently serving as Facilities Manager at Vail Resorts since December 2017, and previously held positions including Competition Services and Building Department Lead. As the Owner of Sightline Construction LLC since June 2006, Thor focuses on general contracting, project management, and remodeling. Thor also contributes to alpine skiing as Head Coach at St. Croix Preparatory Academy since November 2013, where program development and athlete training are key responsibilities. Previous roles include Construction Superintendent at M/I Homes, Inc. and Assistant Head Coach of the Alpine Ski Team at Hill-Murray School. Early career experience includes carpentry at J Eiden Construction and marketing support at NACR. Thor holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Metro State University and attended Minnesota State University, Mankato.
