Heather Skehan

Heather Skehan is an experienced Speech-Language Pathology professional with a diverse background in special education and behavioral health. Currently serving as an SLP Graduate Clinician at St. David's HealthCare since January 2024, previous roles include similar positions at KIPP Texas Public Schools and Austin's Communication Station. Heather has a solid foundation in special education, having worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at Lockhart ISD and as a Special Education Teacher at Eanes-Westlake Innovative School District and KIPP Austin Public Schools. With a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology anticipated in 2024 from West Coast University and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education from The University of Texas at Austin, Heather is well-equipped to support students with disabilities, developing and monitoring IEPs, and implementing behavioral interventions.
