Amanda Gregory

Amanda Gregory is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and administration. Currently serving as a Global Studies and World History Educator at St. Edmund's Academy since 2008, Amanda has also held roles such as Upper School Dean of Students and Growth Coach for new faculty. Amanda plays an active role in developing a standards-aligned curriculum focused on the United Nations' Global Goals for Sustainable Development. Additionally, Amanda has experience as an ESL Online Instructor with VIPKid and has worked as a private tutor since 2002, supporting students from K-post secondary in various subjects. Prior positions include teaching communications and middle school English at Pittsburgh Public Schools, where significant improvements in student testing scores were achieved. Amanda's educational background includes multiple degrees and certifications in social sciences, technology education, and the science of learning from institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh and Teachers College, Columbia University.
