Paul Christy has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Paul began their career as an Administrative Resident at Mercy Health in 2009 and subsequently held roles such as Billing Specialist, Lead Billing Specialist, and Supervisor in the Physician Financial Services department. Paul then transitioned to the role of Physician Revenue Cycle Liaison, where they consulted with executive leadership on best practices for revenue cycle workflows across over 100 physician offices. In 2015, Paul became the Patient Access Manager at Mercy Health, responsible for managing patient access functions at multiple hospitals. Paul joined St. Elizabeth Physicians in 2016 as a Practice Manager, and later served as a Section Manager before assuming their current position as the Director of Patient Access.

Paul Christy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology and Classical Humanities from Miami University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Paul later pursued a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from Xavier University, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. In 2018, they obtained certification as a Certified Medical Practice Executive from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Paul attended Miami Valley School, although it is unclear when they started or finished and whether they earned a degree or studied a specific field.
