Shamard Charles

Shamard Charles, MD-MPH, serves as the Chair of the Health Sciences and Leadership Department and Assistant Professor of Public Health at St. Francis College. Additionally, Shamard is a co-founder of Last Gen Publishing and has experience as a Physician Journalist with NBC News. As a UN General Assembly Global Press Fellow with the United Nations, Shamard has contributed to important global discussions. Shamard holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University.
