Valerie Harrison

Valerie Harrison is a marketing and communications coordinator at St. Francis House since July 2023, bringing extensive experience as the owner of Lorraine Designs LLC since May 2020. Past roles include administrative assistant at The Community Builders, Inc., and marketing intern at Children and Screens: Institute of Digital Media and Child Development. Valerie served in leadership positions at Active Minds - Emerson College as president and treasurer, as well as vice president and event coordinator for Students Supporting Survivors. Additional experience includes community organizing for Emerson College Student Union, dog walking at Wag Labs Inc., and editorial proofreading for Donna Harris Harrison's novel, A Dangerous Proposition. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Emerson College, where education was completed in 2022, and a high school diploma from Oakwood Secondary School, completed in 2017.
