Cheri Wagner has had a diverse range of work experience in the medical field. CHERI started their career as a Senior Representative at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital in 1977, where they served for 22 years. Following this, they worked as a Patient Account Rep at Long Beach Community from 1999 to 2000. Cheri then joined ST. Francis Medical Center as a Lead/Billing & Collections expert in 2000, where they utilized their skills in collecting, billing, verifying, and managing various medical care types. Additionally, they worked as an Office Manager for Dr. Robert Harris at La Palma Hospital in their Wound Care department from 1986 to 1988.

We operate a 384-bed acute care hospital, two community-based health clinics, and one of the largest and busiest private emergency trauma centers in Los Angeles County — treating 84,400 children and adults each year. Last year, more than 5,000 babies were born at SFMC’s Family Life Center, with 875 babies cared for in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Center. Our Healthy Community Initiatives bring health care services to children and families in their schools and neighborhoods. In addition, we operate the Children’s Counseling Center for abused and neglected children, a Health Benefits Resource Center to link individuals and families to health insurance and social service programs, and a broad range of educational and community services programs that improve the health and well-being of children, adults, and seniors throughout our service area.
