Richard Isnor

AVP, Research at St. Francis Xavier University

Richard Isnor is the AVP of Research at St. Francis Xavier University. Prior to this, they were the Manager of NSERC-Atlantic from April 2008 to January 2015. Richard has also held positions as the Director of Innovation, Policy & Science at the International Development Research Centre and as the Director of Biotechnology Horizontal Initiatives at the National Research Council Canada. Isnor began their career in 1995 as the Manager of Research and Technology Services for the Nunavut Research Institute before moving on to positions with Natural Resources Canada and Environment Canada.

Richard Isnor has a D. Phil. from the University of Sussex in Science and Technology Policy Studies, a Masters from Dalhousie University in Environmental Studies, and a BSc Hons. from Mount Allison University in Biochemistry.

Richard Isnor reports to Andy Hakin, President. They are on a team with Murray Kyte - VP, Advancement, Randy Peters - Director, Risk Management, and Lace Marie Brogden - Dean of Education.
