Marcel Huser

Marcel Huser has a diverse range of work experience. Marcel started their career in 1989 at Alcan Rorschach AG as a Kaufmännischer Angestellter and Junior Programmierer. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks, including the management of the creditor accounting and the development, testing, and implementation of IT applications.

After their time at Alcan Rorschach AG, Marcel joined Schweizerischer Bankverein in 1996 as a Junior-Controller. Here, they gained experience in financial controlling.

In 1998, Marcel moved to UBS AG, where they held multiple positions over the years. Marcel started as a Marktgebietscontroller and then progressed to become the Leiter Regionalcontrolling Ostschweiz. In this role, they led a regional controlling team and was responsible for all controlling matters in the East Switzerland region. Marcel provided planning, reporting, and consulting services to the region's leaders.

Later, Marcel became the Head Business Unit Controlling Wealth Management International at UBS AG, where they oversaw the controlling of the Wealth Management International business unit.

Currently, Marcel is working at St. Galler Kantonalbank AG as the CFO. Marcel took on this role in July 2023. Prior to their CFO position, Marcel also held the role of Leiter Controlling at St. Galler Kantonalbank AG.
