Julie Karam currently holds multiple leadership roles, including Massachusetts Co-Chair and Social Media Director for the High School Democrats of America, and DOWNE President and Social Media Director for the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. Additional responsibilities include serving as an Intern and Youth Representative for the MetroWest Commission on the Status of Women, focusing on empowerment initiatives, and working as Communications Director and Youth Ambassador for Fihri. As a Karate Instructor at Perez Martial Arts, Julie emphasizes safety and effective communication. Julie also holds the position of Athena Council Liaison and Teen Soyo President at St George Greek Orthodox Church, with previous experience interning for YES North America. Education is being pursued at Medfield Senior High School, expected to be completed in 2025.

St George Greek Orthodox Church
The Greek Orthodox Community in Lynn, Massachusetts was incorporated on April 5th 1905. Over one hundred years ago, in the city of Lynn, a pioneering group of Greek people established this church for the purpose of perpetuating their religious and cultural heritage. Since then, the St. George Community has grown into one of the largest religious congregations not only in Lynn, but also in the Greek Archdiocese of America. As a group, the Greek people of Lynn have contributed immensely to the general growth and development of the city in all aspects. Our presiding priest is Rev. Fr. Alexander J. Orphanos
