Michael Baines

Michael Baines is an experienced health professional with a background in physiotherapy and performance management. Currently serving as the High Performance Director of Clinical and Wellness and Project Coordinator for Early Intervention at GM³ since September 2024, Baines also holds the position of Managing Director at Dizzy Clinics Australia and South Coast Health Hub. Additionally, Baines contributes to the St George Illawarra Dragons as a Physiotherapist and Medical Performance Consultant for NRLW and has been involved with NSW Rugby League Ltd as a Women's State of Origin Physiotherapist and NSWRL Performance Pathways Physiotherapist since 2012. Previous roles include managing partner at BaiMed and physiotherapist for Illawarra Hawks Basketball, while having held multiple physiotherapy positions with the St George Illawarra Dragons. Baines earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney between 1997 and 2000.
