Satyen Barve

Satyen Barve has extensive experience in product management and has held various senior roles in different companies throughout their career. Satyen is currently serving as the Vice President of Product Management at STG Logistics since August 2020. Before that, they worked at Ship.Cars USA as a Senior Product Manager from February 2019 to January 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Product Manager at Walgreens Boots Alliance from September 2018 to February 2019. Satyen also worked as a Product Owner at CNH Industrial from February 2018 to August 2018. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Product Manager at CDK Global from May 2014 to February 2018. Satyen also worked as a Senior Technology Product Manager at Expedia, Inc. from April 2013 to May 2014, where they managed product lines for third-party travel affiliates. Satyen has also served as a Product Manager at NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks from April 2011 to April 2013. Satyen began their career at Motorola Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they worked from January 2000 to August 2008. Satyen also worked at Motorola Solutions as a Project Manager from August 2008 to August 2009 and as a Product Manager from August 2009 to April 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Nucleus Software from April 1997 to April 1998.

Satyen Barve obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Pune, India, between 1992 and 1996. Satyen then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University from 1998 to 1999. In 2007, Satyen enrolled in The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they completed an MBA program focusing on Strategic Management, General Management, and Finance from 2007 to 2010.

Additionally, Satyen has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1998, they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology from C-DAC (Formerly NCST). Later, in 2015, they became a Scrum Certified Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance. In 2018, Satyen obtained Pragmatic Marketing Level 3 certification from Pragmatic Marketing. In 2019, they completed a course in Product Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Lastly, in 2023, Satyen acquired a certification in Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification from Coursera.
