John Caven

John Caven has extensive experience in golf club management, currently serving as General Manager at St. George's Golf and Country Club since October 2021. Previously, John held the position of General Manager - COO at Oakdale Golf & Country Club from August 2017 to October 2021 and was General Manager at Glasgow Golf Club from June 2015 to August 2017, overseeing one of the oldest golf clubs in the world. Additional roles include Director of Operations at both G West and Loch Lomond Golf Club, and Business Development Manager at Paul Lawrie Golf, where responsibilities included managing corporate sponsorships. John began their career in golf operations as Director of Golf at Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Club and has held various positions at other clubs since 1989. John is a graduate of the British PGA with a degree in Golf Management.
