Maricel Hernandez is currently the Director of the Magis Program at St. Ignatius College Preparatory, where Maricel supports first-generation college-bound, low-income, and underrepresented students. Maricel also serves as the Director of Community Engagement and Belonging, promoting a sense of belonging within the school community. With a background in mathematics education, Maricel has held various teaching positions in different school districts and has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Maryland.
