Wrendly "Wrend" Mesidor

I am Wrendly Mesidor, a committed 3rd-grade educator with the Archdiocese of Miami at St. James Catholic School, where I strive to instill a love for learning and growth in my young students. In addition to my role in education, I serve as the Vice Chairman of The Redevelopment Board in North Miami Beach, actively engaging in community-focused initiatives to drive local progress and development. As the owner of Wrendly Mesidor Consulting, I provide strategic insights and guidance, helping individuals and organizations achieve their personal and professional aspirations. I am also the author of Secrets of Self-Motivational Success, a work dedicated to inspiring others to unlock their potential and embrace personal growth.

My academic journey has been both fulfilling and transformative. In 2019, I earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Broward College, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Florida International University (FIU) in 2022. Building on this foundation, I completed a Master’s of Science in Mass Communication at FIU in 2023. My time at FIU was highlighted by historic achievements in student leadership, where I became the first Student Government Association Lieutenant Governor in 2021-2022, as well as the inaugural SPC Regional Director in 2022-2023. I am also a 2022 Global Learning Medallion Graduate, which reflects my commitment to global perspectives and lifelong learning.

In the realm of civic engagement, I served as a Civics Program Specialist at Broward College in 2023, where I supported initiatives that encouraged civic responsibility and engagement. In 2022, I ran as a commissioner candidate in North Miami Beach, demonstrating my dedication to public service and my desire to contribute meaningfully to my community.

In summer 2024, I completed the Teacher Accelerator Program (TAP), a valuable experience that further honed my skills as an educator. That same summer, I had the opportunity to intern with Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Summer 305 program, where I gained insights into effective educational practices and innovative approaches to student development.

Each chapter of my journey has reinforced my passion for education, community involvement, and personal empowerment, all of which I endeavor to share with others through my work and writing.
