Nigel Light

Nigel Light is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data analysis and governance. Currently serving as a Senior Data Support Analyst at St. James’s Place since January 2024, Nigel manages data-related incidents and serves as a reference point for internal teams and external partners. Previously, Nigel held the role of Senior Data Analyst at St. James’s Place from September 2016 to May 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing corporate data quality through collaboration with various stakeholders and utilizing tools like Experian Aperture and Salesforce. Nigel's career began in the Civil Service from 1984 to 1988, progressing through various roles in IT development, business intelligence, and data governance at notable organizations such as RSA, Eagle Star, and Ecclesiastical Insurance Group. Nigel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with Geochemistry from the University of Leicester. Additionally, Nigel engages in zero-hours contract work as an Exam Invigilator at Henley Bank High School.
