Shibani Cherla

Shibani Cherla, CPA, CMA, currently serves as a volunteer on the Finance and Audit Committee of HealthPartners Canada since October 2021. In their role as Director of Finance at St. John Ambulance Canada since March 2020, Shibani oversees all financial, human resources, and corporate administrative functions for the National Office and St. John Foundation. Prior to this, Shibani was the Controller at CAA North & East Ontario from June 2013 to March 2020, where responsibilities included budget management, financial reporting, and ERP system migration. Shibani also held the position of Vice President Finance and Administration at Intertask Conferences from 1986 to June 2013, focusing on financial management and governance for not-for-profit associations, and began their career as a Controller at Wallacks Ottawa in 1985. Educational credentials include a Certified Management Accountant designation from the University of Ottawa and a diploma in Financial Management and Business Administration from Algonquin College.
