Darby Underwood has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and media. Darby started their career at WUFT-FM as a Radio Reporter and Host, where they brainstormed and researched stories, conducted interviews, and wrote stories to be played on air. Darby also recorded written stories for hourly newscasts and participated in the hour-long show "Front Page Edition of All Things Considered."

Darby then worked as a TV Reporter at WUFT-TV, where they developed solid story ideas, conducted interviews with various individuals, and produced packages for broadcast.

Following that, they joined Gator Country Multimedia, Inc. as a Media Intern, covering University of Florida sporting events and working as a beat and feature writer for cross country's fall 2011 season.

Darby later joined Axia Public Relations as a Public Relations Associate, where they served as an account manager and internship coordinator. Darby'sresponsibilities included managing campaigns and projects for clients, pitching story ideas to media outlets, writing news releases and articles, and monitoring media coverage.

Currently, Darby is working at St. John as a Senior Public Relations Manager. Prior to this role, they were a Public Relations Account Manager at the same company. Darby initially started at St. John as an Assistant PR Field Account Manager, supporting Southeastern Grocers/Winn-Dixie field account managers in corporate public relations efforts. Darby'sresponsibilities included brainstorming and initiating large campaigns, building media relationships, coordinating regional community requests, and sharing associate accomplishments via internal newsletters.

Darby Underwood earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications - News track from the University of Florida. This educational journey spanned from 2008 to 2012.
