Angel Santiago III

Angel Santiago III currently serves as the Dean of Students and Assistant Athletic Director at St. John Paul II Catholic High School since July 2023. Prior experience includes Athletic Director at Robert F. Munroe Day School, overseeing sports programs and managing various operational aspects from June 2021 to July 2023. From September 2011 to June 2021, Angel held the position of Head Softball Coach at Nicholls State University, managing the entire softball program and focusing on development and fundraising. Previous coaching roles include Women's Assistant Softball Coach at Florida State University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas, with responsibilities in recruitment and athlete development. Angel’s career began in education and coaching as a Physical Education and Drivers Education Teacher at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, alongside coaching positions at Prairie State College and a professional playing career in baseball. Angel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in K-12 Physical Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
