Director Of Religious Education at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church

John D. has significant experience working in religious education. John started their career as a Director of Religious Education at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in 1997, where they coordinated a program for 300 students from Kindergarten through 9th grade. John also handled the RCIA program, VBS program, and sacramental preparation program. At St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, they served as the Director of Religious Education from 2005 onwards. Their responsibilities included coordinating a K-8 program for 500-600 students and managing a team of 50-60 adult volunteers. John also led the RCIA program and oversaw sacramental preparation. In addition, they supervised the Youth Minister and was involved in adult faith formation. Prior to their work in religious education, John D. worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Family Channel from 1993 to 1997.

John D. earned a Bachelor's Degree in Religion/Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. Later, they obtained a Master's Degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Saint Leo University, completing their studies in 2012.
