Kate Manihera

Kate Manihera currently serves as a Capability Development Senior Advisor at Hato Hone St John, where leadership is focused on the implementation of the Aka Whiri strategy aimed at enhancing cultural competency and Māori capability across the organization. Previously, Kate was the Māori strategic lead at Heartland Bank LTD, promoting diversity and inclusion within the financial sector while managing the Manawa Ako internship programme for rangatahi Māori and Pasifika. Additionally, Kate coordinated various organizational development initiatives and internal communications. As a freelance makeup artist, notable work included specializing in weddings and serving as the official makeup artist for New Zealand Weddings magazine. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business from Auckland University of Technology, with a major in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a minor in International Business, as well as recognition as a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
