Sophie Steinberg is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and learning specialization. Since July 2021, Sophie has been a teacher at Winthrop Grade School while concurrently serving at St. John's Episcopal Parish Day School since July 2016. Prior experience includes teaching roles in the School District of Hillsborough County, NYC Department of Education, and the Israel Ministry of Education, spanning various educational contexts, including general and special education. Sophie's foundational experiences as a learning specialist at KIPP Academy Nashville and Williamson County Schools have equipped their with specialized skills in working with special education students. Sophie holds an MA in Secondary School Education from Brooklyn College and has completed advanced certification courses in Elementary Education at Lipscomb University, along with a BA in International Affairs from Florida State University.
