Kirsten Masson has a 25 year track record in programme management, performance management, contract management, business planning, strategy, systems and processes, coaching, education and skills training. Kirsten began their career in 1997 as the Chief Executive and Senior Manager of Skillswork, where they were responsible for developing strategies for local job creation, business support, skills and training. In 2003, they founded Masson Consultancy as the Managing Director. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Senior Executive of Business Finance at EEDA, where they managed a portfolio of business finance products and contracts. In 2012, they began working at St John's Innovation Centre Ltd as the Head of Programmes and Development and Innovate UK EDGE Innovation & Growth Specialist. Kirsten also works as a Growth Manager for the national Business Growth Service and helps ambitious businesses across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex to achieve their growth goals. In 2013, they became the Director of The Dosoco Foundation, a Community Interest Company with a vision to unlock the world through sound & music.

Kirsten Masson completed their Bachelor of Arts Honours in Social Administration from the University of Brighton in 1989. Prior to that, they attended William Farr CE School. No additional certifications are listed.
