Ashley Evitt

Ashley Evitt is an accomplished media and communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and outreach within governmental and private sectors. Currently serving as the Media and Communications Manager at St. Johns River Water Management District since June 2021, Ashley leads a team in aligning media and communication strategies with organizational goals. Previous roles include Media and Outreach Manager and Public Communications Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed managing media inquiries and executing social media campaigns. Prior to that, Ashley worked at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, coordinating messaging and managing external affairs, and held various positions in real estate and political campaigns, showcasing a strong foundation in communication and relationship-building. Ashley holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Rollins College and an Associate of Arts from Valencia College.
