Elizabeth Alt

Elizabeth Alt serves as Senior Assistant General Counsel at St. Johns River Water Management District since May 2023, focusing on the sustainable use of Florida's water resources. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held the position of Senior Assistant County Attorney at Marion County Board of County Commissioners from June 2016 to May 2023, where responsibilities included preparing and executing contracts for various county departments. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Associate at Charles Ruse, Jr. from November 2005 to July 2015 and as Managing Attorney at William T. Alt, P.C. from May 1990 to August 2004. Elizabeth is admitted to practice in both Florida and Tennessee in State, Appellate, and Federal Courts.
