Julie Ballew

Julie Ballew has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as the Assistant Head of Lower School at St. John's School since June 2017, with a tenure that includes roles as Interim Assistant Head of Lower School and Teacher. Previously, Ballew worked as a Teacher at Spring Branch ISD from August 2015 to June 2017, and prior to that, as a Literacy Coach and Teacher at Clear Creek ISD from August 2006 to June 2015. In the coaching role, Ballew supported teachers in implementing effective literacy instruction and provided professional development across various educational institutions. Ballew holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University, completed in 2009, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the same university, received in 2006.
