Elizabeth Dern

Elizabeth Dern is currently serving as Project Coordinator for Service and Justice at The Catholic University of America since August 2023, while also working as a Case Manager at St. Joseph Center since August 2022. In the role at St. Joseph Center, Elizabeth manages over 120 clients, coordinating care for homeless individuals and acting as a liaison between clients and internal/external case managers. Previous experience includes roles as a Home Health Aide at BAYADA Home Health Care and Age In Place Home Care, and as a Nursing Assistant at Geisinger Medical Center, where Elizabeth provided direct patient care and documentation. Additionally, Elizabeth worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Scranton, supporting faculty in microbiology lab courses. Elizabeth holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Kinesiology from the University of Scranton.
