Bethaney Bolha

Bethaney Bolha is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Northeast Ohio Medical University, focusing on the brain's control of the body's adrenaline response under the guidance of Dr. Ronald Seese. Concurrently, Bethaney serves as a Patient Decontamination Team Member at Akron Children's Hospital and a Research Assistant at Youngstown State University, where collaboration with Dr. Caguiat involves studying multiple metal-resistant bacteria, utilizing techniques such as transposon mutagenesis and DNA extraction. Previous roles include positions as a Phlebotomist/Donor Center Technician at Biomat Plasma Center, Videographer at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Line Cook at Mojo's Pub & Grill, and Crew Member at Dairy Queen. Bethaney is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at Youngstown State University, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds an Honors Diploma from Austintown Fitch High School.
