Katherine Gunkle

Katherine Gunkle has extensive experience in youth ministry and education, currently serving as the Director of Youth Ministry and Social Media Manager at St. Joseph's Catholic Church since December 2018. Previously, Katherine held the position of Associate Director of Youth Ministry at the Diocese of Charleston from August 2017 to July 2018 and worked as a Campus Ministry and Youth Minister at the Diocese of St. Augustine between April 2013 and August 2017, where responsibilities included leading youth group meetings and coordinating events. Earlier roles include Extended Day Teacher at San Juan del Rio Catholic School and Camp Counselor at YMCA of the USA, showcasing a strong background in engaging with children and organizing activities. Katherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Florida and an Associate’s Degree in Education from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
