Elizabeth Harrington

Elizabeth Harrington, MHSc, Prosci, currently serves as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, a role held since January 2023. Previously, Elizabeth held various positions including Interim Director and Public Affairs Manager at the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Communication and Engagement at Bruce Trail Conservancy and Manager of Communications at Brant County Health Unit. Elizabeth also worked for the City of Hamilton in multiple capacities, including Marketing Project Manager and Health Promotions Specialist. Academic qualifications include a Master of Health Science in Health Communication and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Toronto Metropolitan University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McMaster University. Notably, Elizabeth co-authored a paper on anaphylaxis risk perception published in 2010.
