Angela Scheirer

Angela Scheirer, MS, RN, CCM has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Angela is currently serving as the Director of Care Coordination and Patient Progression at St. Joseph's Health since June 2023. Prior to this role, Angela worked as the Nurse Manager for Case Management & Utilization Review at St. Joseph's Health from April 2021 to September 2023.

Before joining St. Joseph's Health, Angela worked at Crouse Health as a Care Coordination Specialist from April 2020 to April 2021. Angela also gained valuable experience at St. Joseph's Health as an RN Clinical Care Manager from October 2015 to March 2020, and as an RN from February 2014 to October 2015.

Angela's varied roles and responsibilities demonstrate their expertise in case management, utilization review, care coordination, and clinical care management. Their extensive experience in these areas makes their a valuable asset in the healthcare industry.

Angela Scheirer, MS, RN, CCM completed their education at Excelsior University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing Leadership and Administration of Health Care Systems in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Crouse Hospital College of Nursing in 2013. In 2011, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from the State University of New York at Cortland. Angela has also obtained various certifications including being a Board Certified Case Manager from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) in 2017, being a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2016, and being a Registered Nurse licensed by the State of New York in 2014.
