James Austin

James Austin has extensive experience in the field of perioperative care, currently serving as Theatre Manager at St Joseph's Hospital since August 2015, after holding roles as Deputy Theatre Manager and Senior Operating Department Practitioner. Prior experience includes Lead Practitioner Anaesthetics/Recovery at Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital and Anaesthesia Technician at American Hospital Dubai. James began the career as an Operating Department Practitioner (Anaesthetics) at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Science in Intra and Perioperative Practice and a Diploma in Higher Education in Operating Department Practice, both from Cardiff University.
