Tenzin Y. is currently engaged in emergency department job shadowing at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital and serving as a Patient Care Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital, providing direct patient care in collaboration with healthcare professionals across various hospital units. Previously, Tenzin Y. conducted lab research on neuronal development as an Undergraduate Research Worker at Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences and facilitated operations at the Tennity Ice Pavilion. Additional experience includes serving as a COVID Test Site Facilitator and Screener and as a Student Ambassador at Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. Tenzin Y. also completed a summer internship with the World Childhood Foundation, focusing on advocacy and communication skills for children's rights.
