Anthony Newman

Anthony Newman is an experienced professional with a strong background in business development and community engagement. Currently serving in a business development role at St Laurence Community Services Inc. since February 2014, Anthony previously held significant leadership positions, including Chairman of the Board at Warrnambool Community House, where collaboration with the Warrnambool City Council on the Neighbourhood House relocation was key. As a trainer and educator at AVTES Training, Anthony facilitated various business and management diplomas. The career also includes serving as CEO of The Eye Shop and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce for Rural City of Wangaratta, where sustainable relationships between the council and business community were fostered. Anthony's extensive experience in retail management includes a long tenure as Retail Operations Manager at OPSM. Academically, Anthony holds a Master of Business Administration from Ballarat University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Christian Brothers College.
