Rich Ingersoll has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Rich currently serves as the Director of Systems Engineering and Architecture at St. Lawrence Health System, where they provide architectural leadership, manages cybersecurity incident response readiness, leads a team of engineers, and implements risk management plans. Rich is also a speaker at events like InfraGard Albany Chapter FBI Table Top and SUNY Cybersecurity and Law Enforcement Day. In addition, they are an Adjunct Professor and a member of the Cyber Security Advisory Board at SUNY Canton. Previously, they worked as the Manager of Government Security & IT Services at Cisco Systems and as a Database Architect and Lead Database Administrator at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Rich started their career as a Software Engineer and Database Administrator at CSC.

Rich Ingersoll has a diverse education background. In 2021, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Before that, in 2003, they pursued post-graduate work in Computer Science at Colorado Technical University. Rich'sundergraduate studies were completed at Connecticut College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. In addition to their academic achievements, Rich has obtained multiple certifications including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2021, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GIAC) from SANS Institute in 2018, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2012, and Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute in 2011.
