Chad Tessier

Chad Tessier is an accomplished professional in higher education administration with extensive experience in fundraising and admissions. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Major and Planned Gifts at St. Lawrence University since February 2024, Chad has previously held the position of Director of Family Philanthropy at Colby College from November 2022 to February 2024. Chad's tenure at St. Lawrence University began in July 2008, where various roles included Director of Parent Leadership Giving and Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts, as well as Associate Director of Major Gifts and Associate Director of Admissions. Prior to this, Chad gained experience at The Clarkson School and Clarkson University, where roles ranged from Director of Admission and Financial Aid to Associate Director of Admissions. Educational qualifications include a Certificate of Advanced Study and a Master of Education from St. Lawrence University, a Master of Science in Teaching from the State University of New York College at Potsdam, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Lawrence University.
